V. We interviewed individuals to see what their response would be to my plan. Their responses are as follows.
The individuals that we interviewed they all agree to this bill's plan. Aaron Morden said that a National Fingerprint Database is a great idea. There would be able to put a lot more people in jail from this bill. For the people that dont want to get their fingerprints in the system is they are planning to commit a crime. Janice Bennett had said that this bill is a good idea, but thinks that this wont decrease the growing amount of unsolved crimes each year. She sees this bill more effective in identifying bodies at crime scene. Janice is concerned about the difficulty of getting everyone's fingerprints in to the system. Patrick Lyne also said tha this bill is a good idea, but he is concerned about people hacking into the system and change their information or avoiding them all together. Lonnie Howard said that she hadn't thought about that as a problem but would like to have a database of that sort put to use. Then she said that finaly something is going to take of the roming criminals avoiding the law.
VI. Our answers, based on our research, to their objections and concerns are:
After the bill becomes a law, people will get a letter in their mail regareding about the new law and the reason of this new law and the risk of not gotting the fingerprints. After they read this letter there will be a date showing the deadline near the end of the letter. Their police station must have a secure room for the people getting their fingerprints done and a how to video or have a police officer showing them on how to correctly get their fingerprints done.
